950 square foot fully-furnished rental home; living room with electric fireplace, two couches, flat screen TV/DVD player with a selection of movies (WiFi* for Internet access but no cable TV), board games, books, and radio with CD player. *Every effort is made to maintain Internet access at the cottage. In the event of technical difficulties during your stay, WiFi can be found at Coupeville Library - located just 3 blocks from the cottage.
Two bedrooms: one with a king-sized pillow top bed and the other with two twin beds. Bedding is provided; both bedrooms have large closets.
Bathroom: full-sized shower/tub, towels, hairdryer provided.
Penn Cove and Mount Baker views from deck, living room and dining room.
Kitchen: full-size stainless side-by-side refrigerator and stove, microwave, coffee pot, electric griddle, toaster, blender, coffee grinder, hand mixer and tea kettle. Dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, dish towels, glasses, pots and pans and dish washing supplies are ready for your use.
Full-size washer and dryer in separate laundry room.
Grassy lawn and patio with fire pit & water views; lawn chairs and a charcoal briquette BBQ are available for your use. Lawn mowing is managed by guests using a host-provided onsite gas-powered mower.
Downtown shops are two blocks walk away - leave your car parked at your temporary rental home and enjoy the stroll.
Bring you kayaks or a boat! There is ample off-street parking for vehicles or even a boat; the public boat launch is 3 blocks away. Overnight mooring is available through the Port of Coupeville.
Groceries: one mile west of the cottage at Prairie Center (Red Apple Market). Safeway and Albertsons are located 15 minutes north in Oak Harbor, Payless Grocery is located 30 minutes south in Freeland (great bakery & deli items!). The Coupeville Farmer's Market also operates each Saturday, April through October.
Mail: Please contact the Coupeville Post Office about receiving mail while you are living at The Cottage in Coupeville. They offer mailboxes for rent.
